H.E. Mrs. Suhair Al-Ali
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
Mrs. Al-Ali serves as the Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation since on April 7, 2005 in the cabinet of Prime Minister
Adnan Badran, reappointed on November 26, 2005 in the cabinet of Prime
Minister Marouf Bakheet, and on November 25, 2007 she was reappointed in
the cabinet of Prime Minister Nadir Dahabi.
Prior to her ministerial appointment, Mrs. Al-Ali held the positions of
General Manager and Country Officer of Citigroup in Jordan since 1996,
and General Manager of the Saudi American Bank Representative Office in
New York since 1993. Apart from her official memberships as a Minister
of Planning and International Cooperation, Mrs. Al-Ali also assumes a
number of eminent memberships on a large number of vocational, business
and academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations in Jordan.
Furthermore, Ms. Al-Ali has served, by appointment of His Majesty King
Abdullah II as Member of His Majesty's Economic Consultative Council and
Member of the “Jordan First” Campaign Committee.
