H.E. Eng. Basem Rousan

His Excellency Eng. Basem Rousan has more than 30 years of executive multi disciplinary experience in both the private and public sector as Telecom Engineer, including regulatory and public policy work

He held permanent Executive positions; current Minister of ICT, CTO and deputy CEO, for the last 15 years in 2 of the leading telecommunication corporations in Jordan and the region spanning both the mobile and fixed line sectors. Eng Rousan was heavily involved in all strategic business decisions at all executive levels - hundreds of millions of Dollars worth. This included his work as a strategic planner on the Interconnection and wholesale business, Interconnection negotiations, and International telecom business, leading to the introduction of leading Telecom Company International Gateway infrastructure and business.

H.E. Eng. Rousan holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering / Communications from S.M.U. University – Dallas, USA
