Mr. Arif Al Mirayat
Chairman Tafila Chamber of Commerce

With a public service career of over 10 years in the Military Forces, Mr. Miraya retired in 1978 and started a career in Commerce. He is also a well known poet.

He was chosen by the higher council of education to be a member in the Royal Committee of Jordanian Heritage Documentation which is headed by HH Prince Hashem.

Mr. Mirayat was honored to recite his poems in the presence of both late King Hussein and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.

He is a board member of the School of literature at Tafila University.

He published his first collection of poetry in 1993 entitled Quraishi prestige and he also published a novel Entitled “The struggle”.
