Prior to his ministerial appointment, H.E. Mr. Abu Soud held the positions of Senior project manager with Dhabi contracting in Abu Dhabi, Building division manager with Lilley international - Dubai, Production manager with Cloisall company - Dubai, Site engineer and later project manager with development engineering & contracting company Jordan, Governmental offices in Amman, Projects at Jordanian Royal palaces court, Tomato paste factory, Ghor Al Safi - Jordan, Agricultural marketing center, Ghor Al Safi.

H.E. Mr. Abu Soud holds a Masters Degree in Construction management from the University of Miami, USA
