H.E. Mr. Mowaffak Abu Aqoula
Member of the Board of Commissioners - Telecommunications Regulatory Commission

Mr. Abu Aqola is a member of the Board of Commissioners at the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) since 2005. Previous to his current appointment he was the Director of the Regulatory and the Economics Departments at the TRC.

Prior to TRC he worked for Jordan Investment Board (JIB) as Director of the Investment Promotion Department. He worked also as an economist with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Mr. Abu Aqola holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Tsukuba in Japan and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Jordan. He is specialized in Regulatory Economics’ issues and has over 20 years of experience in the field of Telecom, Energy, and Economic Regulations.
