H.E. Dr. Gazi Shbeikat
Minister of Labor
Prior to his ministerial appointment, Dr. Shbikat held the positions
of Secretary General at the Ministry of Labour, Director General of the
Department of Statistics, Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of
the International Monetary Fund, Washington, D.C., Senior Economist at
the Research Department of the Central Bank of Jordan, Teacher at both
the University of Jordan and the University of Arkansas, Software and
econometrics work at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory/Tennessee-USA
Dr. Shbikat holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tennessee.
