H.E. Eng. Imad Fakhoury

H.E. Imad Fakhoury is the CEO of Aqaba Development Corporation ADC since 2005. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Board and prior to 2008 & since 2004 he also held the position of Chairman of the ADC Board, and prior to assuming leadership at ADC and from 2004 to 2005, Mr. Fakhoury was the Deputy Chief Commissioner and Commissioner for Investment and Economic Development, Aqaba Special Economic Zone, a position he also held from 2000-2003. In 2003 he served as Chief of Staff to His Majesty King Abdullah II for Planning and Programming, Royal Hashemite Court.

Mr. Fakhoury was President and COO of Century Investment Group, served as the Director of Research and Economic Affairs and the Economic Advisor on the Peace Process for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and held position of Regional Program and Policy Manager at Regional Bureau for Arab States at United Nations Development Program.

October 2008, he was awarded Al Hussein Medal for Distinguished Service of the Second Order by His Majesty King Abdullah II in recognition of his dedicated efforts towards economic development and investment attraction.
