H.E. Bilal M. Al-Bashir. Ph.D.
Deputy Chief Commissioner, Commissioner for Economic Development & Investment Affairs - ASEZA

Bilal AL Bashir is currently Deputy Chief Commissioner for the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. Also he was appointed as the Commissioner for Economic Development and Investment Affairs in 2008, after serving as the Commissioner for Environment and Health Control for 8 years. Prior to this, Dr. Al Bashir served as Assistant Professor at the University of Science & Technology and also worked for the Ministry of Water and Irrigation. Dr. Al Bashir holds a Ph.D. from McGill University, Canada, in Environmental Engineering.
